Shape Your Career. Shape the Field.
Not in decades has the state of our economy looked this serious. Nor over the course of your career have you had to work so hard to justify every dollar spent. This year more than ever before, equip yourself with a Bronze Quill, an award judged expressly on return on business investment, achievement of bottom-line results and leadership in the field of communication.
Still need more convincing? Here are five more compelling reasons to enter.
-
Be recognized as the expert you are. Prove to yourself—and company leaders or clients—that your work is exceptional.
-
Raise the bar. Take your work to the next level. Work towards a vision, not just for day-to-day victories over your to-do list.
-
Enhance our profession. Boost the profile and perception of communication professionals. Demonstrate that our work is about delivering value to business and achieving bottom-line results.
-
Enjoy the accomplishment. You’ve worked hard. Celebrate your efforts with your team. Bask in the glow of peer recognition.
-
Leverage into regional and international competition. IABC Colorado Bronze Quill Award timelines and categories are now closely aligned with IABC Gold Quill Awards and IABC Southern Region Silver Quill Awards, allowing you to more easily submit winning chapter entries to 2009 regional and 2010 international competition.
A Standard of Excellence and Leadership
The Bronze Quill award is an award of distinction for excellence among communication professionals throughout the state of Colorado. Receipt of a Bronze Quill award indicates the delivery of creative, value-driven communication unparalleled by colleagues in the field.
2009 award recipients receive more than just a beautiful trophy.
- Winners in all categories will be featured in statewide announcements, as well as on IABC-Colorado.com, LinkedIn, Facebook and Twitter.
- Winner of Best of Show and other categories will be invited to profile their work in person at an IABC Colorado chapter event as a part of our “Bronze Quill Winners” speaker series.
- The Bronze Quill Award ceremony will launch again in 2010.
